The Canal, located next to the historic Hiram Chittenden Locks on Seattle's canal waterway, delights guests with its spectacular view: a panorama of Seattle's famed working waterway. Nautical touches include metal sculptures of salmon sculptures, rock-and-tile tables, and custom glass lighting fixtures. At 7,500 square feet, the space can seat 260 comfortably.
Housed in a 140,000-square-foot Frank O. Gehry–designed building, Seattle’s Experience Music Project, co-located with the Science Fiction Museum and Hall of Fame, is available for buy-out events of up to 2,000 guests as well as smaller gatherings. The central hall, called Sky Church, features the world's largest indoor video screen accompanied by a surround-sound system. On the third level, a private event space holds the police car from the movie “Blade Runner” and the spaceship model from the movie “The Day The Earth Stood Still.”
