Club InterContinental Lounge
This November, InterContinental Hotels & Resorts plans to open InterContinental London Westminster in London, steps away from British landmarks like Parliament and Westminster Abbey. It will be the first InterContinental property to open in the UK in 36 years.
The hotel will feature 256 guest rooms, including a penthouse, 14 one-bedroom suites, and 30 studio suites, and will be housed in a former government building, Queen Anne’s Chambers.
Eight meeting and event rooms will accommodate up to 300 attendees, reception-style, or 124, classroom-style. There will also be an on-site business center.
The property’s Blue Boar Smokehouse & Grill (pictured above) is an American-style barbecue restaurant that will use smokehouse techniques and on-site charcoal and smoking ovens. Emmeline’s will offer champagne and cocktails.
The hotel will also feature a Club InterContinental Executive Lounge. A fitness center and gym will be located on the ground floor, with 24-hour access for guests.
