After a $29 million renovation and rebranding, Le Méridien New Orleans was ready to reveal its new face to the meeting and hospitality community in New Orleans. Some 500 attendees showed up last March for an opening celebration that was so popular it ran past its running time. Hosts New Orleans was hired by Le Méridien’s branding team as coordinating partner to give the event its appropriate energy and flair. The program, led by Hosts Account Executive Tony Leggio, won the 2016 Achievement Award for Best Innovative Event Under $50,000 from the Association of Destination Management Executives International.
