The award-winning Sonesta Beach Resort is a luxury property set on three private beaches on a lushly landscaped 25-acre peninsula stretching into the Atlantic Ocean. The crescent-shaped, three-story structure's guest rooms and suites open onto the ocean or tropical gardens.
Location/Access: The property is 16 miles or a 40-minute drive from Kindley Airfield, Bermuda's international airport. Cab fare ranges from $25 to $30. It's a 20-minute ride to downtown Hamilton.
Accommodations: A total of 367 guest rooms and 33 suites are available in two towers. Guest room amenities include private balcony or lanai, air-conditioning, iron, ironing board, hair drier, radio, and television with a selection of movies and remote control. Room rates range from $110 to $250 per night.
Taxes and Value Seasons: There is a 7.25 percent room tax. Value season is November 16 to March 31.
Recreation: On-site recreation includes a spa, water sports, pools, scuba diving, three beaches, six tennis courts, and a seasonal Just Us Kids children's program. Activities available nearby include golf, an aquarium, nature walks, fishing, boating, horseback riding, and museums.
Dining and Entertainment: There are three restaurants plus a casual cafe, the Palm Court Club, and a lounge with live entertainment.
Meeting Facilities and Services: The 16,000 square feet of meeting space includes one room that seats up to 425 persons theater-style or 340 for a banquet. There are several scenic outdoor venues perfect for themed events. Extensive on-site audiovisual setups include projectors, multimedia lenses, and sound and video equipment.
