She has written for numerous publications, including Business Traveler International, Metropolis, and Crain’s New York Business, and served as editor-in-chief of two interior design magazines. Her work has won awards from the American Society of Business Press Editors and the Hospitality Sales and Marketing Association International.

Betsy is editorial director of The Meetings Group, Primedia Business, based in Stow, Mass. The Meetings Group publishes Association Meetings, Corporate Meetings & Incentives, Medical Meetings, Insurance Conference Planner, Religious Conference Manager, and a weekly e-newsletter, MeetingsNetXtra. Betsy has served as editorial director of these market-specific magazines since the early 1990s. She has also served in staff writing positions for Travel Agent magazine and Travel Management Daily.
