HPs: Get a Spot at ICPA's Annual!
Enhancements to ICPA's recruitment program give Hospitality Partners more opportunities to get a spot at this year's annual meeting, November 6 to10 at the New York Marriott Marquis. If you refer a new member to ICPA, and that person joins the association by March 28, your name will go into the selection process two times, doubling your odds of being selected through the lottery system (which takes place at the next board meeting in April). This special upgrade is retroactive to January 1. We are also reducing the number of planners from three to two that you need to recruit for you to get a guaranteed spot at the annual. Just get two new members to join and you will get a spot, regardless of whether or not they attend the annual.
And remember, for each new member that you refer who joins the association, your name will also be entered into a drawing to win a three-night stay at the Fairmont Scottsdale Princess. The lucky winner will be randomly selected at the annual meeting in New York.
Finally, we want to strongly encourage all hospitality partners to send us names of potential members, especially in the financial services industry, so we can build our database. Please take a few minutes to identify people with whom your company has relationships who are not members of ICPA. If you do not specifically handle the financial services market, please ask your associates to provide you with the names, so that you may pass their contact information to us for outreach. Thanks so much for your continued support! — John Touchette, ICPA president, and Tina Strauss, Hospitality Committee chairperson
