ICPA Forges Ahead
During an April Board of Director's meeting, the ICPA Board unanimously approved ICPA's first-ever strategic plan, which has been in development over the past several months. The plan is available at www.icpanet.com under the Meeting Planner Info tab.
In our last issue, ICPA President John Touchette alluded to a possible name change this year, which was determined to be necessary to assist the association in recruiting financial services conference planners and to solidify the future of our association. To date, the association has received numerous phone calls and e-mails showing support for this initiative. Additionally, a survey was sent to all ICPA planner members in order to gain their perspective on where the industry is headed. Results of the survey confirm that more planners within ICPA membership (about 36 percent) work for companies that provide both insurance and financial services. We continue to welcome your comments about the association's future. E-mail us today at info@icpanet.com with your thoughts and questions.
