Meet the 2005 Board and HP Committee
AT ICPA'S 2004 Annual Meeting in November, Debbie Boschee, CMP, Prudential Financial, passed the president's gavel to John Touchette, CMP, John Hancock Financial Services. Two new Board members were elected: Sharon Chapman, CMP, CMM, Berkshire Life Insurance Co. of America, Pittsfield, Mass.; and Paul Eder, CPA, CLU, ChFC, Protective Life, Birmingham, Ala. Chapman will serve as vice president, education, and Eder will serve as vice president, treasurer. Leaving the Board was Ken Juel, Mutual of Omaha (immediate past president) and Gary Pearson, AON Service Corp. (former vice president, education). Michael Burke, CMP, Allmerica Financial, was named president-elect.
The Hospitality Partners committee welcomed two new members: Pam Ferguson, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co. L.L.C., and Susan Frei, Canadian Tourism Commission. Tina Strauss, New York Marriott Marquis, was named HP Committee chairperson. Leaving the committee was Cindy Hoddeson, Monaco Government Tourist Office, and June Locke, Four Seasons Hotels & Resorts.
