The Hyatt Regency San Diego is California's premier waterfront conference venue, offering a host of standard business amenities within a resort setting. The slender, 497-foot-tall hotel has 875 rooms, each with a view of San Diego Bay, and all within steps of a first-class marina and the 760,000-square-foot San Diego Convention Center.
Location/Access: The Hyatt is just five minutes from San Diego's Lindbergh Field. Taxi fare is $10. Cloud 9 Shuttle Service is available for $5 per person, one way. Both the city center and convention center are within walking distance of the hotel.
Accommodations: The Hyatt Regency San Diego offers 875 guest rooms and 55 suites. In-room amenities include hair drier, coffeemaker, iron, ironing board, and phones with data ports. All rooms have a bay view. There are also Business Plan rooms and a Regency floor. Rack rates range from $215 to $295.
Taxes/Value Season: Room tax in San Diego is 10.5 percent. Value season in-cludes most holidays, December 15 to 24, and January 1 to 10.
