Offering a blend of luxurious accommodations, fine dining, excellent shopping, distinctive landscaping, world-class entertainment, and a first-class casino, The Mirage exemplifies the resort concept. The Mirage recently spent $54 million renovating its guest rooms and suites.
Location/Access: The Mirage lies in the heart of Las Vegas, about a 20-minute drive from McCarren International Airport. The Strip Shuttle costs up to $5 one way, with one-way cab fare costing between $10 and $12. The convention center is two miles from the hotel.
Accommodations: A total of 2,764 guest rooms and 281 suites are located in The Mirage's 28-story tower. Guest room amenities include marble baths, hair driers, telephone modems with direct-dial lines, televisions and stereos with remote controls, and bedside alarms. Room rates range from $79 to $279.
Room Tax: Room tax is eight percent.
Recreation: On-site facilities include a full-service men's and women's spa with a gym, indoor and outdoor Jacuzzis, and an outdoor pool. The Mirage has a dolphin exhibit, along with the Secret Garden of Siegfried & Roy, which features rare white tigers, an elephant, and other animals. Off-site recreational opportunities include golf, tennis, horseback riding, Jeep tours, and helicopter tours.
Dining and Entertainment: The Mirage's 1,500-seat showroom spotlights world-class illusionists Siegfried & Roy. Dining facilities in-clude a buffet, a 24-hour coffee shop, California Pizza Kitchen, five international restaurants, Coffee Express, and snack bars.
Meeting Facilities and Services: The largest of more than 20 meeting rooms can seat 3,000 persons theater-style or 2,100 banquet-style. Exhibit space totals more than 60,000 square feet. Standard audiovisual equipment is available, along with an array of multimedia equipment.
