Membership Growth Trend Continues
FICP is pleased to report that at the end of 2005 it had 457 planner members, which is up 15.7% from the end of 2004. Contributing to the growth was a membership retention rate of approximately 80 percent of the existing membership (an improvement of about 5 percent over recent renewal trends), and the addition of 141 new planners, many from the financial services arena. In addition to planners, FICP ended the year with 39 honorary members and 574 hospitality partners on its mailing list.
The momentum continues in 2006. As of March 31, FICP has 30 new planner members and 333 planner renewals for the year. A total of 441 hospitality partners have paid the mail list fee. The 2006 membership numbers to date represent an 18.6 percent improvement over the same time period in 2005; and HP list participation is ahead of last year by 3 percent.
FICP appreciates the continued support of its members and hospitality partners and always welcomes new planners and HPers!
