New Board and HPC Members

Sharon Chapman, CMP, CMM, Berkshire Life Insurance, passed the 2008 president's gavel to Patricia Kerr, CMP, Manulife Financial. Chapman continues on the board as immediate past president. Also continuing are Cindy Wheaton, CMP, Nationwide Financial Network, president-elect; Kim Boriin, CMP, Guardian Investor Services LLC, vice president, education; Morgan Murphy, CMP, Bankers Life and Casualty Co., vice president, treasurer; Karyn Rizzo, CMP, Sun Life Financial, vice president, regional chapters; and Dan Young, CMP, CLU, ChFC, LLIF, Thrivent Financial, vice president, membership. New board members are Nancy Farmer, CMP, The Hanover Insurance Group, vice president, sponsorship, and Jan Hennessey, CMP, CMM, Fireman's Fund Insurance Co., vice president, communications. Departing the board was Paul Eder, CLU, CPA, ChFC, Protective Life Insurance Co., 2007 vice president, treasurer; and Michael Burke, CMP, The Hanover Insurance Group, 2007 immediate past president.

Jessica Phillips, Hyatt Hotels & Resorts, was named 2008 chair of the Hospitality Partner Committee. The HPC welcomed two new members: Brent Centlivre, Disney Resort Destinations, and Janice Fraser Belsher, Travel Alberta. Patrick Sullivan, PRA Destination Management New York; Jack Gage, CMP, The Broadmoor; Jeff Gloeb, CMP, Wynn Las Vegas; and Bill Hopkins, Hopkins Entertainment, continue on the HPC. Departing were Pam Ferguson, The Ritz-Carlton Hotel Co., and Susan Frei, Canadian Tourism Commission.
