Register Online for the Annual Meeting
It's time to “Evolve,” by registering for FICP's 2006 Annual Meeting. With three high-level keynote addresses, 24 breakout sessions, networking opportunities galore — and the allure of its Las Vegas location — attendance is expected to top 700 planners and hospitality partners.
The meeting will be held November 12 to 16 at the legendary Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. A Harrah's Entertainment property, Caesars has 3,348 guest rooms in five towers, a multitude of restaurants and meeting space, a 23,000-square-foot spa, and more.
The design team has planned a quality educational program that encompasses a variety of hot topics, including contract negotiations, cross-cultural awareness, catering trends, international meeting planning, technology, and crisis management.
Keynote speakers are Wes Moss, author of Starting from Scratch: Secrets from 21 Ordinary People Who Made the Entrepreneurial Leap; Gary W. Loveman, chairman, CEO, and president of Harrah's Entertainment; and Lyn Heward, who goes behind the scenes of the world famous Cirque du Soleil to explore the nature of creativity and innovation.
The conference also offers a variety of networking opportunities, including FICP's tabletop trade show, called The Marketplace; an opening reception at the luxurious Wynn Las Vegas; an evening event at Tao Nightclub in The Venetian; a reception at Studio 54 in the MGM Grand Hotel; and limited-seat events like Cirque du Soleil's KÀ at the MGM Grand Hotel, “Vegas Nights” helicopter tours, Richard Petty Driving Experience, and a Texas Hold 'em Poker Tournament. The meeting will conclude on Wednesday, November 15, with a closing reception and dinner at Caesars Palace.
Registration is now open at www.ficpnet.com. Housing reservations must be made by October 9 to ensure booking at Caesars Palace.
