FICP’s Northeast Regional Meeting Tackles Tough Issues, While Excitement Builds for FICP’s Annual Conference
Working hard to create an up-to-the-minute agenda, FICP’s Northeast Chapter, chaired by MetLife’s Lindsay Maloni, chose the theme “Re-Define, Re-Direct & Re-Emerge” for its upcoming meeting. “We are focusing our energy on discovering new opportunities to excel in the current climate and showcasing your value to your company,” Maloni says. “We will touch upon the emerging trend of social networking and we’re looking forward to a keynote speaker sponsored by Goodman Speakers Bureau who will explain how to make the most out of difficult situations. He promises real takeaways—something that is so essential to management in our companies right now.” The complete agenda and registration link are available at the FICP Web site. The meeting takes place July 26 to 28 at MGM Grand at Foxwoods.
Meanwhile, registration is now open for the FICP Annual Conference, set for November 15 to 18, 2009, at the Sheraton Centre Toronto Hotel in Toronto, Ont. In a note to FICP members, 2009 Annual Conference Chair Patricia Kerr, CMP, and FICP President Cindy Wheaton, CMP, acknowledged, “Now more than ever, time out of the office is carefully considered and weighed against the return on investment. The 2009 FICP Annual Conference Design Team has worked vigorously to deliver a program that is relevant to insurance and financial services professionals—timely, based on what’s happening in the industry and packed with networking and educational opportunities—while being among the most affordable events in the industry.”
