Dolce to Manage Former Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas
Dolce Hotels and Resorts will rebrand and manage the former Ritz-Carlton, Lake Las Vegas property that has been closed since May. Dolce plans to open the new property in the first quarter of 2011.
The 349-room-and-suite Mediterranean-style resort sits on 15 acres of the master-planned Lake Las Vegas development, which includes two resort-hotels, two marinas, residences, and a European-style village. The property features 32,000 square feet of meeting and banquet space, a 30,000-square-foot spa and fitness center, multiple dining and lounge options, and gardens and courtyards that can be used for private functions. The property, which can accommodate groups of up to 1,000 attendees, adjoins MonteLago Village’s boutiques and restaurants.
Its meeting space includes an 11,841-square-foot ballroom with 7,423 square feet of pre-function space, a smaller 4,700-square-foot junior ballroom, and 10 function rooms that include two boardrooms. Technological amenities include state-of-the art electrical, lighting, and sound systems, soundproof air walls, and high-speed Internet access in key gathering locations. Direct ballroom access is available for large vehicles and other oversized display items.
