DMC Giant Allied Adds Production and Social Media Team
Allied International, parent company of PRA Destination Management, Allied Europe, and Allied Arabia, now offers its global clientele full production and social media services through a new division called Allied Experiences, powered by redbutton.tv.
Working with Allied Experiences, meeting planners can help their attendees capture and share the event experience for friends and family through the use of digital products that redbutton.tv has developed over the past 10 years, along with its brand-new offerings in the social media realm.
In addition, Allied Experiences can provide all elements of a meeting’s production—from content design to staging to direction and management—through the redbutton.tv/LIVE team.
Jim Hensley, president of Allied International, said in a press release, “Social media trends have changed the way we communicate and share information, especially in the meeting planning industry. From streaming video to interactive technology tools, Allied International understands the importance of helping our clients integrate these media in all facets of our events worldwide.”
For example, planners can work with Allied Experiences to design and manage a social media plan that includes pre-meeting interaction and sharing, which makes attendee networking and education that much richer on site.
All business sessions and interactions are recorded and posted for viewing by those who are not on site, as well as for attendees who wish to review them post-event.
During the meeting, Allied Experiences sets up kiosks that allow attendees to immediately send photo cards by e-mail or post to their favorite networks, as well as pick up photos that have been taken by professional photographers on site.
“Our focus is on capturing each event moment by moment, and then giving attendees a way to instantly share their experiences with other meeting attendees, friends, family, and coworkers who perhaps aren’t in attendance, using the latest social media technology and customized solutions,” redbutton.tv President Sam Stanton said in the release.
Allied International has more than 30 years of experience serving the meeting, association, and incentive travel market through its Allied Europe destination management companies, which serve programs in England, Scotland, France, Spain, Italy, and Monaco; its Allied Arabia companies, which serve programs in Dubai, Oman, and Abu Dhabi; and its PRA Destination Management subsidiary, a collection of 20 independently owned franchises across the United States. Allied International also recently announced its global partnership with Associated Luxury Hotels International in which ALHI national sales representatives, in addition to offering their clients the ALHI portfolio of more than 125 upscale hotels and resorts, will also now be able to connect them to destination management services in the United States and Europe.
redbutton.tv is a leading social media and digital productions company in the meetings and events industry, working with Fortune 500 companies around the world. Through its redbutton.tv/LIVE unit, the company also provides a complete production solution for meetings as well.
