Cvent and BCD M&I Partner on ProStart

Cvent has released a new product called ProStart—a scaled-down, less expensive version of its meeting management software—through BCD Meetings & Incentives, the Chicago-based independent meeting and incentive management company.

McLean, Va.–based Cvent says the new product includes modules for meeting registration, strategic sourcing, attendee management, and reporting. With these elements, companies can begin collecting data and establishing processes that will allow them to measure and leverage their meeting spend.

“For many companies, deploying all the advanced components of an enterprise SMMP [strategic meetings management program] from the start is prohibitively expensive and complex,” said Anil Punyapu, Cvent’s vice president of enterprise sales and partnerships. “We’ve worked closely with BCD M&I over the past few months to develop a solution to these common roadblocks so meeting managers can more easily get their programs off the ground.”

ProStart will be available as a stand-alone technology service or it can be implemented in conjunction with BCD M&I’s consulting services.
