The Four S’s and ESG
You’ve heard of the three R’s: reading, writing, and ‘rithmatic. Well, the meetings industry has some fundamentals, too, and you can learn about them at a virtual classroom for the industry’s accepted practices exchange initiative, or APEX. On December 5 at 2 p.m., the Convention Industry Council, in cooperation with MeetingsNet, will present a webinar about how to use APEX’s Event Specifications Guide, the four-part document created for planners to convey information about their events to hotels and other suppliers in an efficient and standardized way.
Webinar attendees will learn how to put into practical use the knowledge stemming from the 26-page ESG panel report, created by volunteers representing a broad range of meetings industry stakeholders.
And here’s where the four S’s come in: Join four meeting pros, Sara R. Torrence, CMP, president, Sara Torrence & Associates; Susan L. Schwartz, CEM, president, ConvExx; Sandy Biback, CMP, CMM, principal, Imagination+ Meeting Planners Inc.; and Sue Tinnish, SEAL Inc., for this enlightening one-hour presentation, including a live Q&A.
Attendees are eligible to receive 1 point of CMP recertification credit or 0.1 point for initial application credit. For more information and to register for this free webinar, click here.
