FICP Region Chair Profile: Jennifer Sisk
Highlights
Meet the Director of Events, at Cole Real Estate Investments in Phoenix, Ariz., and FICP’s West Region Chair
How long have you been an FICP member and what have been the
benefits of membership for you?
I’ve been a member of FICP since 2006 and I’ve fostered some great relationships with both planners and hospitality partners that have helped elevate my career. I enjoy sharing stories of both successes and challenges and learning how others handle similar situations so I can do better next time.
Why did you decide to volunteer your time to head up the West Region?
I wanted to feel connected to FICP and take on a leadership position that would help me grow personally and professionally. I feel honored to give back to an organization that has given me so much throughout the years.
What do you see as the value of FICP’s regional events?
I see value in the regional meetings as a way for planners and partners to take advantage of a smaller, more intimate setting for making some really good connections. This atmosphere enables people to share great ideas and build relationships that can be valuable to anyone attending.
What is one great piece of meeting-planning advice you’ve received in your career?
Remain calm at all times, no matter what.
