Registration Open for FICP Annual
Online registration for meeting planners only is now open for the Financial & Insurance Conference Planners 2008 Annual Conference, November 9-13 in Cancun, Mexico. Those who register before August 31 will save $100 on the registration fee of $525 for FICP members and $625 for non-member planners. The host hotel, Fiesta Americana Grand Coral Beach, is offering a special rate of $140 U.S. to conference attendees.
In addition to exploring Cancun as a premier meetings destination, attendees can take advantage of the more than 30 education sessions and myriad networking opportunities during the conference. FICP has been raising the education bar each year, and 2008 promises to take it up another notch with tracks targeted to specific experience levels. Tracks include leadership development, strategic management, contracting solutions, technology advantages, increasing value, and best-practices sharing.
Keynote speakers include Master of Ceremonies Steve Gilliland, CSP, one of the most in-demand and top-rated speakers in the United States and Canada; Captain D. Michael Abrashoff on how he created successful change within the confines of a military operation; Cynthia Cooper on the rise and fall of WorldCom, and how her team uncovered one of the biggest frauds in corporate history; and Jerry Linengar on what he learned from his 132 days off of the planet.
The conference, called Reach Beyond Boundaries, will also have many opportunities for planners to network with each other and with hospitality partners. For registration and more information, go to www.ficpnet.com and click Annual Conference Registration.
