NEMICE—22 Years Strong and on the Leading Edge
The 22nd annual New England Meetings Industry Conference and Exposition (known as NEMICE) comes to the Hynes Convention Center in Boston April 8 and 9.
The program includes four pre-conference workshops on Tuesday, and 10 more the following morning before the luncheon and afternoon trade show, silent auction, and round table sessions. An evening event in Boston’s Prudential Tower is also planned.
On Wednesday, CMI Editor Barbara Scofidio will moderate an international café-style session on green meetings. Each table will be devoted to a green meetings topic, and attendees will change tables at set intervals. Table topics will include green transportation, hotels, gifts and giveaways, carbon offsets, incorporating charitable activities into your meeting, and more.
Other sessions will focus on some of the other most relevant topics facing meeting planners today, including how to use wikis, meetings 2.0, and the technologies of the new millennium.
