SITE Adds New Networking Event
To fill the void left when it dropped its June SITE University meeting in 2003, the Society of Incentive and Travel Executives has announced a partnership with the Incentive Travel Exchange, an invitation-only event that brings North American buyers and pre-qualified suppliers together in pre-arranged one-on-one meetings.
The first SITE-endorsed ITE event will be held in 2008 from June 23 to 25 at THEhotel at Mandalay Bay, Las Vegas. The second annual ITE, held last month at the same location, brought roughly 150 industry professionals together to conduct business meetings over a three-day period.
According to SITE CEO Brenda Anderson, the partnership with ITE is intended to provide SITE members with a more structured forum for business meetings. “We believe this is a great addition to our current schedule of SITE events and our significant trade show partnerships. We want SITE members to be able to optimize all opportunities to grow their business networks and the Incentive Travel Exchange offers yet another vehicle to get members connected to buyers.”
ITE is owned by Questex Media Group Inc. For more information on the event, visit the ITE Web site. For more information about SITE, click here.
