AS THE DEMAND for individual incentive travel rewards increases, so does the number of companies offering them. Here's a small sampling of what's new:
THE RITZ-CARLTON HOTEL CO. — Ritz-Carlton's Incentive Rewards program offers a choice of four levels of deluxe room accommodations at any Ritz-Carlton property, plus an American-style breakfast for two. A spa award has recently been added. (800) 215-2085
MARRIOTT — One of the most well-known and comprehensive individual awards programs, Marriott Incentive Awards include stay, nonstay, and package awards at many Marriott brands in the U.S. and abroad. FAIRMONT HOTELS & RESORTS — Fairmont's Ovation Rewards certificate includes a one-night stay at a Fairmont property, a full breakfast for two, and all applicable taxes and gratuities. iEXPLORE — iExplore offers thousands of hiking, biking, diving, and multisport tours, as well as cultural, expedition cruising, wildlife safari, and culinary tours to off-the-beaten-path locales. Customized reward certificates or a point redemption system are available. www.iexplore.com
PALACE RESORTS — Palace Rewards offers four- to seven-night award packages at its four five-star, all-inclusive resorts: Moon Palace, Aventura Spa Palace, Xpu-Ha Palace, and Sun Palace. A trip packet delivered to the winner includes airline tickets, reservation confirmation, travel bag, document wallet, disposable flash camera, customs requirements, packing tips, and luggage tags. www.palaceresorts.com
RELAIS & CHÂTEAUX — Relais & Châteaux certificates range from a gourmet dinner for two at the renowned restaurant Daniel in New York City to a trip to the Singita South African Game Reserve. UNIVERSAL STUDIOS THEME PARKS — Individual incentives include one-day and multiday tickets. The multiday pass gives recipients unlimited park-to-park access. www.universalstudios.com
WALT DISNEY WORLD RESORT — Certificates include three- or four-night “Magic Your Way” packages, with accommodations at one of Disney's resorts, and a base ticket with a park-hopper option. Disney Cruise Line certificates include a three-night vacation for up to two adults and two children. HYATT HOTELS & RESORTS — Hyatt's Incentive & Promotion Certificates are available for four types of awards: Hyatt Stay Awards accepted at properties worldwide; Hyatt Check Certificates for amounts from $25 to $500; Hyatt Weekend Awards for two or three nights at properties in the U.S. and Canada; and $100 gift certificates that can be applied to room stays. www.certificates.hyatt.com.
