Bob Vitagliano
If you could be anywhere in the world, where would you be? New Zealand — It's my favorite place, with amazing natural beauty, wonderful cities, and fantastic people.
What is playing on your MP3 player? If I had one, it would be playing jazz. I play it on the computer while I'm working and throughout the house when I'm not.
What's the best book you read in the past year? Haruki Murakami's Kafka on the Shore. Murakami weaves wonderful tales and leaves us with everyday challenges to solve.
If you could be a superhero, what super power would you want? The ability to beam myself from place to place in seconds. There's never as much time as I'd like to have.
It's time for a second career. What do you choose? In my case it's a third career, and I would be a musician. I have zero talent in that area, but I'd love to play sax.
When your life story is made into a movie, who should they cast as you? I'd like to say George Clooney, but I suspect Woody Allen is closer to the mark.
What's your hidden talent? I hold a certificate in interior design that dates back to my very first profession, furniture manufacturer.
Who inspires you? Almost anyone who is an original thinker
If you could trade places with anyone (living or not) for a week, who would you choose? Jacques Cousteau. He lived a most wonderful adventure.
What is your favorite cause/charity? Any program that helps children to reach their full potential.
What do you do to stay healthy? I have a recumbent bike in my office that serves as an excellent coat rack, but I do walk as much as I can.
If you could go back in time, what would you change about your life? I'd be a saxophone player.
