Ireland and Monaco Offset the Weak Dollar
Ashford Castle, in the west of Ireland near Galway City, is offering a guaranteed exchange-rate program (set at $1.40 per euro) for bookings from October 1 to December 22, 2008; January 2 to May 31, 2009; and October 1 to December 22, 2009. The centuries-old castle offers 83 guest rooms, extensive recreation, and meeting rooms with Wi-Fi connectivity.
Meanwhile, glamorous Monaco also offers dollar-guaranteed rates at select hotels through 2009. Get the list of participating properties at www.visitmonaco.com.
