Lighthouse Learning Receives Initial Accreditation

Before earning the accreditation, Lighthouse Learning jointly sponsored medical education activities with accredited organizations such as the Annenberg Center for Health Sciences at Eisenhower and Oakstone Medical Publishing/CMEinfo. With provisional accreditation now in place, the company can offer accredited educational activities on its own for the next two years.

Before the company’s provisional accreditation expires in July 2013, it will provide the accreditor with the information needed to seek four- or six-year accreditation.

One of the company’s clients is the CollaborativeCARE Conference, or C3, an ambitious undertaking co-founded by John Mooney, the former founder and CEO of M/C Communications, that aims to provide regional conferences that meet the information needs of 12 different types of specialists, as well as primary care physicians and patients.
