Alliance for CME Offers Satellite Radio Series
Highlights
The Alliance for CME launches a new “Lifelong Learning” series on XM Satellite Radio.Building on the success of its audio broadcasts of CME leader interviews at its annual conference in New Orleans last January, the Alliance for Continuing Medical Education, in partnership with ReachMD, has launched a new “Lifelong Learning” series on XM Satellite Radio Channel 160.
The six-week-long series, which began December 6, consists of 15-minute discussions on everything from maintenance of certification and maintenance of licensure, to bringing CME to the point of care, to a physicians roundtable discussion about CME. Alliance member Lawrence Sherman, CCMEP, leads the discussions with academic and industry thought leaders from the Federation of State Medical Boards and the American College of Cardiology, as well as other prominent physicians and CME leaders.
Besides being available on XM Satellite Radio Channel 160, the programs can be accessed live and on demand at ReachMD.com, on the ReachMD MedicalRadio iPhone application, streaming live on BlackBerry and Android platforms, and from links posted to the Alliance Web site.
