Pharmaceutical Meeting Management Forum Addresses Industry Future

Highlights
Find out how pharmaceutical companies need to position themselves for future success during a keynote address at the Fifth Annual Pharmaceutical Meeting Management Forum

The global pharmaceutical market is expected to more than double in value to $1.3 trillion by 2020 — but the business model must change dramatically to support that growth, analysts say. Find out how companies need to position themselves for future success during a keynote address at the Fifth Annual Pharmaceutical Meeting Management Forum, March 29-31, 2009, at the Baltimore Convention Center. The conference is co-organized by Medical Meetings magazine and the Center for Business Intelligence.

Other sessions will cover how the new Pharmaceutical Research and Manufacturers of America's Code on Interactions with Healthcare Professionals affects meetings, sponsorships, and exhibits; an update on state, federal, and international regulations pertaining to pharma meetings; how to manage meetings during the economic downturn; and more.

New this year are special sessions addressing healthcare convention management, medical device meetings, copromotion meetings, and incentive travel.

The 2009 forum also introduces more networking opportunities than ever before, including an executive think tank, where industry leaders will develop best practices on hot issues; speed networking; and roundtables on corporate social responsibility, green meetings, work/life balance, and more topics of attendees' choosing.
