Featured Location: A Philly Gem
Just off Rittenhouse Square in Philadelphia, the Radisson Plaza-Warwick Hotel made its debut in 1926 and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Now, after a recently completed renovation, the signature lobby features large-scale murals depicting famous Philadelphia events by mural artist Susan Daly; and the fireplaces as well as much of the original detailing and plasterwork were carefully restored. The 301 guest rooms have been updated with Sleep Number Beds by Select Comfort, 32-inch LCD TVs, and granite bathrooms. Complimentary high-speed Web access is in every guest room. A new penthouse suite and three new two-bedroom suites boast fantastic city views, wet bars, and 42-inch LCD TVs. Also part of the renovation is a new 2,000-square-foot fitness center and a new restaurant, Tavern 17.
