The Historic Beau-Rivage Palace in Lausanne, Switzerland, has opened an $8 million, full-service spa with nine treatment rooms, including a private couples suite. The hotel, a Belle Époque gem sited on 10 acres of parkland on the shores of Lake Geneva, was designed in the mid-19th century and has 169 guest rooms and suites. One unique offering, bookable in advance, is an excursion on one of the oldest and loveliest steamboats on Lake Geneva, the Montreaux.
