  • Project management group BRIA Events and Phase to Phase Strategy, a strategic marketing firm, have merged. Services will include healthcare-related communications concerning product development, sales, marketing, and operations.

  • The U.S. Travel Association has projected that modest increases in leisure business and international inbound travel in 2010 will enable the industry to add nearly 90,000 jobs.

  • In 2010, the Electronic System for Travel Authorization, which requires international travelers coming to the U.S. from visa-waiver countries to register online before boarding a plane, will phase out paper documents.
