BACK TO THE ESSENTIALS
It may seem mundane compared to dealing with the impact of terrorism, but CME providers still need to prove they are worthy of accreditation under the Accreditation Council for CME's new system.
“Achieving Exemplary Results in Essential Area 2: Planning and Evaluation,” originally scheduled for October, has been rescheduled for February 23 to 25, 2002, at The Westin Hotel — Philadelphia. The workshop leaders, physician learning expert (and MM columnist) H.B. Slotnick, PhD, PhD; George Mejicano, MD, assistant dean for CME, University of Wisconsin Medical School; and Steve Passin, president of Steve Passin & Associates, will share the strategies that earned the University of Wisconsin six-year accreditation.
For more information, contact Susan C. O'Brien, Steve Passin & Assoc., at (253) 756-1616, or e-mail obrien@passinassociates.com.
