Scottsdale Conference Resort, a nine-time M&D Award winner, offers executive meeting facilities in a world-famous resort setting. A staff of professional conference coordinators, a $2 million media center, and a business service center fulfill every meeting executive's needs. The resort's 50,000 square feet of meeting space is complemented by a covered 80,000-square-foot exhibition concourse. The 10,000-square-foot Grand Coronado room features a built-in stage.

Location/Access: Located on 20 scenic acres near Camelback Mountain, the resort is 30 minutes from Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport. Available transfer includes resort-owned limovans.

Accommodations: Each of the resort's 325 guest rooms features a keyless card entry system; three two-line telephones with data-port connections; two desks; an entertainment center; and golf course, garden, or mountain views. A refurbishment project encompassing guest rooms and parlor suites was completed in 1997. Value seasons are holidays and late May through early September.

Recreation: Two 18-hole championship golf courses adjacent to the resort, four lighted tennis courts, two swimming pools, a billiards lounge, a health spa, bicycle rentals, and desert jeep tours are among the recreational facilities and services.

Dining and Entertainment: The dining room offers buffet breakfast and lunch, as well as evening menu service for conference guests. The elegant Palm Court serves classic continental fare.

Meeting Facilities and Services: All 50 meeting rooms have individual temperature and lighting controls. The golf course casitas are ideal for small executive board meetings. The largest meeting room holds 800 people banquet-style. The Grand Coronado can be divided into six smaller rooms. The new Media and Business Center has a production studio, a video-editing suite, photographic services, and a business support system.
