VMS Realigns to Offer Marketing Solutions

VMS, an Indianapolis-based biomarketing and meeting services company, has hired a team of industry experts to provide outsourced marketing support to clients in the biotech, life sciences, pharmaceutical, and diagnostics industries.

The company, (which recently changed its name from Virtual Meeting Solutions to Virtual Marketing Solutions), has traditionally offered strategic meetings management, medical education, and patient adherence solutions to Fortune 500 companies. The following industry executives have now been brought on board to expand the company’s marketing solutions for healthcare companies:

  • Andrea Heslin Smiley, formerly of Eli Lilly and Co. (joined VMS in July 2008);
  • Kerry Aubin, formerly of Eli Lilly and Co.;
  • Nancy Lonsinger, formerly of Roche Diabetes Care; and
  • Dana Ennis, formerly of GlaxoSmithKline.

The four executives have a total of more than 65 years’ experience leading marketing and sales programs for major healthcare companies. Heslin Smiley leads the team as senior vice president of strategic marketing and client services. Lonsinger is vice president of strategy and chief compliance officer, Aubin is vice president of client services, and Ennis is vice president of sales and corporate development.

“[VMS has] always supported the marketing organizations of major bio companies,” said Heslin Smiley. “We will continue to offer those solutions to our clients but are excited for the opportunity to dive deeper into marketing strategies, solutions, and support.”
