The Society of Incentive & Travel Executives and Marriott Individual Incentives have announced a new scholarship program in honor of David Riddell, Marriott International’s vice president of incentive and gift card marketing, who died last summer. The scholarship will pay one attendee’s expenses to attend the organization’s 2007 International Conference, to be held December 6-9 in Monterey, Calif. Candidates don’t need to be SITE members, but they do need to be nominated by a SITE chapter. The SITE Foundation will review each submission.
