Due to unexpected construction delays at the Westin Diplomat Resort & Spa in Hollywood, Florida, The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery (AACS) will be holding its 18th Annual Scientific Meeting at the Wyndham Bonaventure Resort & Spa in Ft. Lauderdale, Florida. ``Tomorrow's Cosmetic Surgery Today ... Monitoring the World of Cosmetic Surgery'' will proceed as planned January 31 - February 3, 2002. Program Chairs for the meeting are Robert F. Jackson, MD and Edward B. Lack, MD.

The American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery is a professional medical society whose members are dedicated to patient safety and physician education in cosmetic surgery. Most members of the AACS are dermatologic surgeons, facial plastic surgeons, head and neck surgeons, oral and maxillofacial surgeons, plastic surgeons or ocular plastic surgeons - all of whom specialize in cosmetic surgery. AACS is an organization that represents a group of cosmetic surgeons in the American Medical Association through its seat in the AMA House of Delegates.
