American Association Of Neurological Surgeons 70th Annual Scientific Meeting In Chicago
The American Association Of Neurological Surgeons (AANS) will hold the world's largest annual scientific meeting for neurosurgeons, neurological residents in training, neuroscience nurses, clinical specialists, nurse/physician assistants, and other allied health professionals from April 6 through 11 at the McCormick Lakeside Center in Chicago. The meeting, which is expected to draw more than 5,000 attendees (including 2,500 medical professionals), will feature the latest scientific and technological advances in neurological surgery. Highlights include:
* 40 practical clinics
* 10 scientific sessions
* 125 oral abstract presentations
* 540 poster presentations
* 650 exhibits (representing approximately 200 companies)
* 77 educational breakfast seminars
Among the neurosurgical topics of interest to be presented during the meeting are:
* New Treatment Using Adult Stem Cells for Parkinson's
Disease
* Gamma Knife Radiosurgery for Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder
* Internet-Based Consultations for International Neurosurgery
