Cardiovascular Summit To Be Held Dec. 7 - 9 In Boca Raton
The Boca Raton Community Hospital CME Committee is sponsoring a Cardiovascular Summit entitled, ``A Climate for Learning'' at the Boca Raton Resort and Club from December 7 through December 9, 2001 in Boca Raton, Florida.
The three-day symposium is designed to keep medical professionals abreast of the latest advances and developments in cardiovascular medicine including leading-edge diagnostic procedures, therapeutic approaches and clinical scenarios. A distinguished panel of international experts will offer a broad based curriculum of interest to cardiologists, internists, primary care physicians, vascular surgeons, interventional radiologists, nurses, and cardiovascular technologist. Lectures and interactive sessions encompass half the day leaving ample time for the registrant and family to enjoy the amenities offered at the newly renovated and luxurious Boca Raton Resort and Club.
CURRICULUM: Topics for discussion include Treatment of the Patient with Asymptomatic Valvular Heart Disease, Acute Coronary Syndromes, Coronary Restenosis, Syncope and Congestive Heart Failure. Updates will be presented on the Use of MRI in Cardiac Disease and on Hyperlipidemia. Debates will focus on Antioxidants: Fact or Fiction and on Surgical/Endovascular Treatment of Carotid and Peripheral Vascular Disease.
EARN CME CREDIT: The Boca Raton Community Hospital is accredited by the Florida Medical Association to provide continuing medical education for physicians. The Boca Raton Community Hospital designates this educational activity for a minimum of 15 hours of CME in Category 1 credit towards the AMA Physician's Recognition Award. Each physician should claim only those hours of credit that they actually spent in the educational activity.
