Doctors And Lawyers To Meet On Fraud And Compliance Issues
U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Inspector General Janet Rehnquist; Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) Administrator Tom Scully; and Robert D. McCallum, Jr., Assistant Attorney General for the Department of Justice's Civil Division, head a list of more than 50 expert speakers at the 2002 Fraud and Compliance Forum, to be held at the Washington Hilton Hotel September 29 - October 1, 2002. Rehnquist will address a general session of the conference on Monday, September 30. Scully and McCallum will speak to a general session of the conference on Tuesday, October 1.
Jointly sponsored by the American Health Lawyers Association (Health Lawyers) and the Health Care Compliance Association (HCCA), the 2002 Forum will offer 34 separate sessions covering the full spectrum of compliance issues addressed by health care fraud and abuse laws and regulations. Physicians as well as lawyers are expected to attend.
