Julie Brown Returns To NMHCC As President
The National Managed Health Care Congress (NMHCC), the leading provider of strategic business information and education for the healthcare industry, announced today the re-appointment of Julie Brown as President. Uniquely, Brown was one of the original founding managers of NMHCC over a decade ago, and was instrumental in launching NMHCC's educational initiatives in technology and disease management.
Brown's extensive experience has equipped her with both the knowledge and skills necessary to take the reigns once again at NMHCC. She has more than 12 years experience producing and organizing healthcare, medical and technology events, and has also worked in the continuing medical education field. Prior to her recent appointment as Content Chair for eHealthcareWorld, Brown was Director of Health Strategy at Gomez Advisors, an Internet research and advisory firm.
``Returning to NMHCC is an exciting step for me,'' says Brown. ``This company has staked a claim in education for better health management that they will possess for years to come. The Congress' philosophy of providing strategic business and advanced clinical information, education and solutions for the industry is a vision I share and will continue to foster. I am thrilled to be back.''
In addition, Beth George returns to NMHCC as Vice President of Client Services. During her initial employment at NMHCC, George held the title of Vice President, Special Programs and helped launch both the Disease Management Congress and Managed Medicare/Medicaid programs, along with other regional events. After temporarily leaving her post at NMHCC, George launched the World Healthcare Congress in Hong Kong and also worked for WellPoint Pharmacy Networks and CareData.
