MRI Company's Award-Winning Booth Leads To Anchor Position At RSNA
For those who wonder about the effectiveness of putting a lot of effort into medical conference exhibiting, consider this: FONAR Corporation, a maker of MRI equipment, has been able to capitalize on the previous performance of its exhibit booth to obtain premiere positioning at this year's annual meeting of the Radiological Society of North America (RSNA) in McCormick Place in Chicago, from November 25-29, 2001.
Attendance at the show last year was 60,000, making it the world's largest medical meeting. The FONAR exhibit, the 13th largest of approximately 620 exhibits at RSNA this year, has been named one of the RSNA's twelve anchor exhibits, a special large-exhibit designation that grants FONAR a premiere, highly visible floor location.
FONAR's exhibit received two awards at last year's show: the Pro-Comm Award of Excellence in the Trade Show Exhibition category, given annually by the Business Marketing Association (BMA) in recognition of outstanding accomplishment in business-to-business marketing communications throughout the world; and the Tower Award (bronze) by the Chicago chapter of the BMA for the best in business-to-business advertising, public relations and all areas of promotion and sales support, both on-line and through traditional media.
