National Task Force On CME To Meet October 16-18 In Baltimore
“Coverging Pathways: Finding Common Ground” is the theme of the 12th annual conference of the National Task Force On CME Provider/Industry Collaboration.
The conference will be held October 16 - 18, 2001 at the Baltimore Marriott Waterfront Hotel. Among the featured sessions will be an interactive one, using an audience response keypad system, on ethical and legal issues regarding gifts to physicians. CME providers with issues related to commercial support will not want to miss this event.
There will be sessions on such timely topics as the revisions of ACCME Standards For Commercial Support, sources and strategies in obtaining commercial support, a session on best practices in CME provider/industry collaboration, and a session led by Sue Ann Capizzi, Bruce J. Bellande, and Marcia Jackson on “gray areas” in commercial support.
Among the other featured speakers at the conference will be Louis Diamond, MD, vice president and medical director of the MEDSTAT group in Ann Arbor, Michigan and chair of the medical informatics forum of the American College of Medical Quality, who will give the keynote address.
Registration is $645 before September 24th, $695 thereafter. For more information, visit the conference website.
