Nurses Associations Start Disaster Fund for Nurses
Nurses House, a charitable organization, has been designated by the American Nurses Association (ANA), American Nurses Foundation (ANF) and the New York State Nurses Association (NYSNA) to receive charitable contributions for registered nurses in need across the nation as a result of the tragic events of September 11, 2001. Charitable contributions designated for the Disaster Fund will be allocated to registered nurses on a priority basis to meet present and future needs caused by these special circumstances.
