RxCentric Adds Operations And Sales Managers
RxCentric Inc., a web-based medical communications firm that links physicians' drug information and educational needs with online pharmaceutical product-marketing capability, has announced that Michael J. Wise, a former consultant to the pharmaceutical industry with international management consulting firm A.T. Kearney, has joined as Executive Vice President of Operations. RxCentric also announced the appointment of Rick Stefany, a sales executive who has developed major national account relationships with several of the world's leading pharmaceutical companies, as Senior Vice President of Sales. Both Wise and Stefany will complement RxCentric's existing senior management team and will focus on developing and managing strategic commercial relationships with large pharmaceutical firms, capitalizing on RxCentric's expanding physician user base and Internet-based product offerings. ``With our technical internet service delivery platform now refined and with our proven ability to develop communities of physician users, Wise and Stefany will accelerate our contracting of online promotional programs with pharmaceutical company partners,'' said Richard Findlay, RxCentric's President and Chief Executive Officer. At A. T. Kearney, Wise served many of the world's largest pharmaceutical companies, leading teams addressing key issues ranging from R&D strategy to profit maximization. Wise also served as a market research analyst and product manager at AstraZeneca Pharmaceuticals. Stefany has extensive experience in the areas of pharmaceutical marketing, business development, sales and general management. He has held senior sales positions with such companies as SciQuest.com, and VWR Scientific Products, Inc., where he negotiated long-term partnerships at senior levels with companies such as Johnson & Johnson, Merck & Co.
