The Bosco Tourism Business of the Year award for 2011 went to the Glenwood Canyon Resort, a rafting, camping, zipline, and activities outfitter. It also recently opened the 8,000-square-foot Canyon Club Event Center and No Name Bar & Grill. The event center can accommodate a variety of groups in its 2,000-square-foot grand room and meeting rooms. It also has indoor and outdoor seating, a full-service banquet kitchen, an outdoor barbecue grill, and a full-service bar. The restaurant features a 4,000-square-foot deck overlooking Glenwood Canyon, and a 2,000-square-foot room for breakfast, lunch, appetizers, and dinner. It has a full-service bar on the deck of the Canyon Club overlooking the Colorado River.
The award was given by the Glenwood Springs Chamber Resort Association at its Annual Awards Gala in April.
