Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center to Begin $5 Million Renovation

The Four Diamond, 451-room Hyatt Regency Denver Tech Center will begin a $5 million hotel renovation that will include a new restaurant, and redesigned lobby and public spaces. The work is scheduled for completion in the spring 2013. The restaurant, Root25 Taphouse & Kitchen, will be a gastropub venue that will feature Colorado craft beer and spirits, as well as local foods for its seasonal menus. Included will be several private dining spaces that can accommodate groups of 10 to 30 people.

The hotel’s pre-function and public spaces, which also are being updated, will be open in February 2013 for groups of up to 800. In addition to refreshing the lobby look, the property is implementing new technology to expedite the check-in process,  eliminating the need for a traditional front desk. Instead, hotel associates will be checking guests in via mobile devices including iPads. The hotel offers 30,000 square feet of function/meeting space.
