River City Casino
St. Louis
The News: This new casino and entertainment venue is under construction.
Specs: 90,000-square-foot casino, five dining facilities, and an entertainment lounge.
Time Frame: Completion is expected in spring 2010.

Caesars Palace
Las Vegas
The News: Completed a 110,000-square-foot expansion of its meeting facilities in July
Specs: The 3,348-room hotel now offers more than 300,000 square feet of meeting space, including a 263,000-square-foot convention center.

Hard Rock Hotel & Casino Las Vegas
The News: The second phase of the hotel’s $750 million expansion, which added 490 guest rooms, was completed in July.
Specs: A total of 1,525 rooms and suites; more than 81,000 square feet of meeting space; The Joint, a concert and events facility for up to 4,000 people;  and the 8,000-square-foot Rock Spa

WinStar World Casino Hotel
Thackerville, Okla.
The News: The 395-room hotel opened in August.
Specs: The hotel offers three restaurants, meeting space for groups of up to 200, a pool, and the new Spa Habitat.

Wild Horse Pass Hotel & Casino
Chandler, Ariz.
The News: The $200 million hotel opened October 30.
Specs: 242 guest rooms, 12,000 square feet of meeting space, eight dining venues, a 100,000-square-foot casino, and a 1,400-seat entertainment venue
