The American College, a financial services education institution in Bryn Mawr, Pa., is calling on the financial services industry to require ethics education for all financial advisors. This is in response to ongoing regulatory investigations into insurance and financial services practices.

As part of its campaign to push for an industrywide ethics requirement, The American College recently announced that its newest educational program designed for financial services professionals in the insurance, securities, and banking industries will require an ethics course. The ethics requirement is intended to create a strong grounding in ethics for professionals early in their careers.
