The second phase will encompass a soft goods renovation to the remaining 240 rooms. Tabachin, the resort's signature international restaurant, will be completely renovated to include an outdoor patio for al fresco dining. A new indoor/outdoor bar, the Bar Pierre & Lounge, will open, offering an upscale, intimate lounging area overlooking Revolcadero Beach. The ballroom "Conquistadores" will be modernized as well, providing updated function space accommodating a total of 450 people. At the Fairmont Acapulco Princess, a $3 million full-service spa will open later this year. The 14,000- square-foot spa facility will contain treatment rooms, a beauty salon, Jacuzzi, steam room, sauna, and Swiss showers. A newly opened 4,000 square-foot fitness facility features state-of-the-art Keiser equipment.
