Melissa Van Dyke Named IRF President

The Incentive Research Foundation has a new person at the helm, Melissa Van Dyke.

The Incentive Research Foundation has a new person at the helm: Melissa Van Dyke, formerly managing consultant, Employee Engagement Practice, at Maritz, Feton, Mo.

As IRF president, she will be responsible for the overall management and operation of the foundation, replacing Frank Katusak, who is leaving at the end of March.

The IRF will be moving its headquarters to St. Louis from its present location in New York.

Van Dyke has written various Maritz white papers on the subject of employee engagement and recognition, including “Engagement and Appreciation in a Time of Crisis” and “The Top Ten Tenets of Enterprise Recognition”—a background that will serve the IRF well. Several years ago, the group broadened its mission beyond research on travel incentives to “research on strategic recognition and incentive solutions that engage, align, and motivate employees to higher levels of performance.”

“Melissa’s background as a program planner and in research, technology, process management, and consulting will provide the foundation with a unique skill set in a changing world,” said Jeff Broudy, IRF chairman.
